Help Defend the Farmlands from the Krugg in The Dungeon Siege Farmland metaverse experience. This project was / is a collaboration project between Room 8 Studios / Massive Black and Square Enix. Acting as a reimagining of the Farmlands portion of the original Dungeon Siege, this experience stands its own as an exciting action RPG experience. 

Grab your friends and fellow adventurer and meet the Dungeon Siege Heroes in this social hub experience in the Sandbox metaverse. In collaboration with Room 8 Studios / Massive Black and Square Enix, this experience features no combat and rather serves as a social hub with mini games and lore for players. The Cryptstalker in an upcoming action-adventure arcade style horror title aimed at being released through Steam. In Cryptstalker, the player will find themselves as a cursed child who is desperately searching the strange realm to redeem herself and undo the curse that’s been set upon her. The players will explore a large hub world that has portals hidden throughout – once the player enters the portals, the player must make their way through combat scenarios and instanced survival modes. The levels all end will a boss and a trophy that serves as a key to advance to the next area of the hub world. This title is heavily in development.

MOLEMAN – the game that didn’t have a name until the day of its release. Moleman is action – platformer that was created in unity with the C# language by a group of student game designers(including myself) over a course of 3 months.; Primarily defined as an action 2d/3d platformer, this game features our hero moleman, who is on a legendary adventure to save his captured wife from the evils that lurk outside of his modest farm house. This project combines 2d platforming action with an in world hub, a powerups menu featuring…you guessed it, equip-able power ups and perks that were awarded as the player made their way through the levels in the hub. Players were met with levels that included many bosses, featuring different settings and mechanics per boss. Players also encounter “run and guns” that took the player on an themed adventure through the level, full of obstacles and “mini bosses”. Heavily influenced from the popular “Cuphead”.

Don’t forget your trusty sword and torch as you delve into The Crypts of the Dungeon Siege metaverse experience. Created in collaboration with Room 8 Studios / Massive Black and Square Enix, this reimagining of the Crypt portion of the Dungeon Siege is just as haunting as the original. Players will encounter a graveyard full of mysterious, hideously terrifying creatures of the night, and a quest to undo the evil that lies within.

ANKH was a student project based off the popular point and click adventure of the same name from 2005.  Created using Unity and the C# language, this game was an attempt to recreate / re-envision level(s) from the orignal game in a similar style. The project was primarily made to serve as a challenge for students to work together and practice the creation of a title from conception to finish, featuring mechanics, full gameplay loop, options, original voice tracks and more.  This project features point and click movement, a simple inventory system, text objectives, and more.  This project was a pre-cursor to our capstone project.  

SCRAPS is a student made group project made using Unity and the C# language. This was the first “big” student project that spanned over a three month period. Scraps is an action adventure game that features a “scrapper” – a collector of sorts who works for the rich by going out into the waste and collecting items of value in dangerous terrain. The scrappers main tool is a “gravnul” – a weapon or tool of sorts that allows the player to move around and use objects in the environment. this takes place in a post-apocalyptic setting. This project allowed the students to improve their overall design skills, while learning about the editor, working with code, and allowed the students the opportunity to work with others in a timely and organized fashion.

Technical Projects

BETWEEN the major projects at FullSail – we had many technical projects that were designed and taught to teach students how to use Unity’s editor and interface, many different ways to approach design and code that include but are not remotely limited to – lighting, rendering, navigation, pro-builder, shortcuts, different code methods and functions such as arrays, collision, health and other factors that take numerical values(int, float) to screen, formulas, text and UI operations, boolean’s, buttons and much more. These projects took the knowledge and content we learned and had us implement those techniques into the engine to be graded. These projects are the foundation and the “bread and butter” of all my major projects and endeavors thus far.

A TRAIL OF MEMORIES is a project that I created / presented using Unity and the C# language for one of my best friend’s wedding. The player finds themselves in a mystical woods that hold instances or “memories” of our childhood, teenage years, college days and more in this exploration themed mini game. The player not only goes in the location where these memories come from, but also collects pictures and videos from the times in the said locations. The player is prompted with a “collect memory” UI prompt and simply runs into the image to collect it. This was presented during my “best man” toast and the groom played it on a projector in front of his wife to be and the audience, which was full of people who knew the memories and places referenced all too well.
