Developed over two months, Ankh is a student-driven project aimed at recreating and modernizing a level from the 2005 PC classic. Built in Unity using C#, this project functioned as both a technical showcase and a tribute, allowing students to refine gameplay mechanics, level design, and scripting techniques while honoring the original title.
The game features classic point-and-click mechanics, with custom-built maps, interactive mission structures, and diverse enemy encounters. The focus was on replicating the feel of the original game while integrating modernized controls and environment design within Unity’s engine.
While some placeholder assets were used during development, the project stands as a testament to the team’s ability to recreate a beloved adventure, demonstrating technical proficiency in game development, environment design, and player interaction systems.
